On the whole, everything was great. Our biggest concern however was the food which was not brilliant for Coeliacs. We did notify the hotel in advance & spoke to the chefs on arrival, as well as regularly during our stay. Whilst they were very friendly & tried to assist, we were left feeling that more could be done. They kindly offered to prepare food in advance, but the offering was usually processed ready-made gluten free packet meals (lasagne and mini calzone). Having lived with our daughter's condition for a year now, we have seen ourselves how easy it can be to prepare 'homecooked' food that is similar to a gluten based diet, without the need to resort to processed readymade packet meals. Furthermore, at the pre-lunch & pre-dinner snack times, there was always an impressive spread of sandwiches, mini-blinis, crisps and charcuterie offerings, but often nothing suitable for a coeliac and with no area that would minimise the chances of cross contamination. On most occasions, the only viable option was sweet meringues, which whilst delicious, are not really an ideal diet for a 5 year old. Of course, it is our own responsibility to ensure our daughter eats safely, and we were grateful for what was done, but we felt more effort could have been made to accommodate her gluten free needs.

I had a wonderful stay at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry. The view over the valley and the magnificent mountains, including Mont Blanc, was absolutely breathtaking.

A fantastic team, always attentive and caring throughout our stay and concert. A big thank you to Quentin, Sam, Tristan, Armelle, Pierre and Lucie. And thank you to Marco for the warm welcome at this Club Med village.
