Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There was a good variety of food and we were never worried about the quality. The included activities were awesome, and the ocean front and water amenities were fantastic. It’s very family friendly, so keep that in mind if you’re travelling without kids. As parents, we appreciated the family pool, the provided stroller, and the availability of high chairs. The room was definitely a con. It’s outdated, but that didn’t bother us as much as how clearly you can hear your neighbours. Most of the rooms seem to be connected, and you can hear the words of the other guests next to you quite clearly. This is a problem when you have crying babies. The king bed was just 2 beds pushed together. The floors get covered in sand and the cleaning staff do not seem to clean them between days.
There are tons of reviews on the hotel but I wanted to review the excision my family took today.
We had the most incredible experience on a private charter aboard the Sea Dragon with my wife, our two young children (ages 4 and almost 2), and the exceptional crew—Romeo and Marcial. From the moment we were picked up right behind the main pool at Club Med Cancun (super convenient!), everything was seamless and well-organized.
Romeo and Marcial were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. They provided great advice on spots to visit around Isla Mujeres and made sure our family was comfortable and having a great time the entire journey. Their flexibility and genuine hospitality truly made the experience special.
The Sea Dragon was spacious, clean, and perfect for a family outing. We enjoyed breathtaking views, crystal-clear waters, and smooth sailing. If you’re considering a private charter in Cancun, I can’t recommend this experience enough. We made unforgettable memories, and we’re so grateful to Romeo, Marcial, and the Sea Dragon for such an amazing day!
The resort is simply wonderful! Breathtaking landscapes, incredibly tasty food, delicious drinks, and plenty of activities to relax. Plus, it’s just 2 hours away from one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Chichen Itza, which is a must-see!

Absolutely loved the Jade section of this resort - so worth the extra money. It was quiet, with no crowds, wonderful food right at our fingertips, upscale beverages, wonderful palapas, and fabulous staff that met all our needs and were friendly at all times - particularly Daniel, Jesus and Jaime.
Mentions special for Marci mouse , I like the service of the reception, Aqua gym , the beach, the snorkeling was amazing, the food at restaurants good choice, the apero was nice , Marci always there in GM contact, I will come back soon ,club med is amazing.
