My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Li Jiang Club Med.
We have a very warm and super helpful Customer Service Manager, Nina, who greeted us when we arrived, and she will go the extra mile to help us with our daily activities. We also met a few friendly staff members at Club Med, including Jade, another customer service lady who always gives us the most beautiful smile.

Yoyi, another friendly (think from the mini club), then a cute couple – Sebastian and Christina - who chatted with us during dinner.

The room is clean, and we were surprised by the beautiful decoration for my husband's birthday and the birthday cake.
We personally love the food at Li Jiang Clubmed, especially the Yunnan noodle soup and Chinese local cuisine.
The daily night performances are awesome and family-friendly. Could see all the staff performing were enjoying themselves and putting their best effort in entertaining the guests.
Lastly, our sweet Nina arranged breakfast boxes for us when we left for the airport, and she personally came down to send us off (and it was her day off!).
We will give 5 stars for this ClubMed and all the staff at the Li Jiang Club without any hesitation.

We just finished a 3-night stay 15-18 May at Club Med Lijiang and left with such warm, lasting memories of the place and the people.

The resort is stunning, set against the snow-capped Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Every view felt like a postcard. But what made the stay truly unforgettable were the GOs. Their energy, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed. To special mention :

1. Peter & Luka – Sports Team Standouts
Peter and Luka set the tone for our entire trip. Peter made rock climbing and basketball fun and approachable, always encouraging and checking in on us. Luka’s hiking trip was one of the highlights – he made the trail safe, engaging, and full of local stories. Together, they made us feel at home right away and kept the vibe lively every day.

2. Luke & Simple – Always Up for Fun
Luke has genuinely shared his fitness knowledge during the fitness sessions. Simple kept us entertained through pickleball, snooker, and badminton. Both were approachable and made it easy to join in, even as beginners.

It was great fun with these magnificent 4 guys over the snooker sessions.

3. MJ & Amirul – Activity GOs
MJ made archery and pickleball fun for beginners. Amirul kept archery engaging with clear guidance. Their patience made us want to try again.

4. Ashia, Ravish & Levi – Yoga, Bar & Entertainment
Ashia guided us the BaDuanJin and Yoga seesions. Ravish went out of his way to make us a custom cocktail for our dinner. Levi kept the blackjack table light and entertaining every night.

5. Lucy – Mini Club Manager
Loved our chat with Lucy over dinner. It was great to meet the Mini Club manager outside of the kids’ activities.

It meant a lot that the team with Peter, Luka, Luke and Simple came to say a heartfelt goodbye when we left, especially Peter booked the ride to ensure we were on time to catch our train. Three nights felt too short. We’ll carry these memories with us and will absolutely be back. Thank you to Club Med Lijiang and the incredible GOs.

Simply put, the Club Med booking team is only attentive until you’ve made payment. After that, queries and requests are largely ignored. They do not reliably relay messages or requests to Club Med in Lijiang.

I had to follow up repeatedly just to obtain a direct contact, using the excuse of needing it “in case of an emergency.” Thankfully I did. Our airport transfer on arrival had not been booked, and fortunately the GOs in Lijiang were able to arrange a last-minute transfer for us. When I raised this issue with the AU/NZ booking team and asked them to ensure our return airport transfer (for 14 people) was properly arranged, they made the same mistake again by failing to book it. Once again, the GOs in Lijiang stepped in to resolve the issue.

There were several other problems as well, including room arrangements and excursion bookings, which the booking team mishandled. Each time, the GOs in Lijiang had to step in and fix things for us. All the pre-trip planning we did with the booking team, intended to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, was almost rendered pointless. This was especially stressful given that our group of 14 included an elderly couple, a pregnant woman, and several toddlers and children.

The excursion team (although based within Club Med, they claim to be a separate third-party provider) was likely the worst. They repeatedly insisted we had to pay extra because excursions were “not designed for small groups,” yet during the excursions, we were essentially treated as if we had only booked a taxi service. Plans were only confirmed at 4–5pm the day before, and sometimes changes were communicated in the middle of the night, also the night before.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience I recently had at Club Med. My stay was truly enjoyable, and I would especially like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Jasmine from the Front Desk team.

From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff greeted me warmly and made the check-in process smooth and efficient. They were always professional, patient, and attentive, taking the time to answer all of my questions and making sure I felt welcomed and well taken care of.

Throughout my stay, the front desk team consistently demonstrated a high level of hospitality. Whether it was helping with reservations, providing helpful information about activities, or assisting with transportation arrangements, they handled every request with kindness and efficiency. Their positive attitude and dedication truly enhanced my overall experience.

It is clear that the front desk staff play an essential role in creating such a pleasant atmosphere for guests. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness left a lasting impression on me, and they are a wonderful representation of Club Med’s commitment to excellent service.
